Farflung (“we”, “us”) is a game operated by [BUSINESS NAME] (ABN [ABN]), a sole trader based in [STATE], Australia. We built Farflung to collect as little information as possible.
What stays on your device
Your streaks, scores, game progress, settings and (if you buy Unlimited) your license key are stored only in your browser’s local storage. We never receive them. Clearing your browser data deletes them. You can copy them to another device yourself using the “progress code” in Settings.
What we don’t do
- No accounts, no sign-up, no passwords.
- No advertising, no ad trackers, no selling or sharing of personal information.
- No cookies set by Farflung.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not track you across sites. It gives us aggregate numbers such as page views, country and device type. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Purchases (Farflung Unlimited)
Payments are handled by our reseller and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. When you buy, Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email, billing details and payment information under their privacy policy. We receive order details (such as your name, email and country) so we can provide support and refunds. We never see your full card details.
License checks
To unlock Unlimited, your browser sends your license key to our server (a Cloudflare Worker), which checks it with Lemon Squeezy. To prevent abuse, the server briefly processes your IP address for rate limiting. We don’t store your IP address, and license checks are cached only as anonymous hashes.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard technical data (like IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site.
Children
Farflung is suitable for all ages and doesn’t knowingly collect personal information from children. Purchases should be made by an adult.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you (usually only order details from a purchase), ask us to correct or delete it, or make a complaint. Email [EMAIL]. If you’re in the EU/UK you also have rights under the GDPR, and in Australia you may contact the OAIC (oaic.gov.au).
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date above.
